If you are a good writer or simply enjoy writing, you can earn a very stable income by writing articles and blog posts.
There are essentially two ways to do this: one is to write for yourself and the other is to write for someone else and get paid for it.
The first method requires some understanding of the “making-money-online” market. For example, you can start your own website and write massive amount of quality contents. After months or even years of hard work, you might get noticed by the major search engines, like google or yahoo and you will receive massive amount of organic traffic. You will then be able to start earning some income either by advertising or selling certain products.
However, if you do not want to go through this cumbersome process, I would recommend the second method: writing for someone else. Many website owners are willing to pay very high prices to get original contents. Search engines like google loves sites that updates regularly, but many website owners do not have the time to update their sites with fresh contents. This is where you come in. You provide fresh contents to them and they will deliver money to you. If you can get a long term contract with several website owners, you should be able to earn several hundred dollars per month depending on how much time you are willing to spend on writing.
Also, for SEO purposes, many site owners will pay you to write original articles. Either you or they can submit the articles to the major article sites like “ezine articles” to obtain back links from the articles you wrote.
Some article sites, like Associated Content will pay you to write original articles and post them on their site. Currently, they are only accepting U.S members.
One common misbelief that many people have is that you have to be a professional writer to get these kind of jobs. That is so NOT true; in fact, any one can do it. You do not need to write something profound to be paid. As long as the stuff you write is original, not copied from somewhere else and is grammatically correct (Microsoft word automatically does this for you), you should be able to make a decent amount of money from writing. However, if you absolutely hate writing and are extremely lazy, then this kind of job is not for you.
Some agencies will provide you with the tools and resources, so that you don’t need to look for your potential employers. All you need to do is to concentrate on the writing and you will get paid. The rest is done for you.
