Global Test Market Scam? Honest Review

Note: Beware of Scams that claim to be Global Test Market and send you fraudulent check to be secret shoppers.

If you are wondering if Global Test Market is scam or simply want to know more about this survey panel, then you are at the right place.

Global Test Market is operated by GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.), found in 1999. Over the years, it has become a global leader in market research targeting consumers over 60 countries and currently has millions of members worldwide.

Members earn points which are redeemable for cash. A typical survey pays anywhere between $2-$20. Members will also receive free sweepstakes entries into daily and monthly cash drawings. If you are an active member, you will receive survey invitations frequently. All surveys invitations are sent to your email. GlobalTestMarket pays members via checks.

What I especially like about Global Test Market is that even if you do not qualify for some surveys, you will still receive a small reward for your participation (Free entries to monthly and special drawings).

I want to assure you at the end of this review that Global Test Market is definitely not a scam. In fact, it is one of my favorite survey sites, because of their generous rewards. I have received payment from them many times.

I am a member of global test market for a number of years and they are definitely not a scam. However, there were a few items in your article that I have not experienced as a member – “A typical survey pays anywhere between $2-$20.” With global for every 1,000 points you receive $50, apparently the surveys you are taking are giving you up to about 350 points. The other item “What I especially like about Global Test Market is that even if you do not qualify for some surveys, you will still receive a small cash reward for your participation.” – What kind of cash rewards are you receiving for your participation if you do not qualify? My experience has been that if I do not qualify, I receive points which become a part of monthly and special drawings, however, there is no guarantee. I would be interested in your responses. Again, global is not a scam, I have received many checks from them.

Anne, Thank you very much for commenting. First I would like clarify the first item “A typical survey pays anywhere between $2-$20.” I am simply saying that the reward for each survey can range anywhere from $2 to $20. It does not mean, you will receive $20 surveys all the time, in fact, they are quite rare. Also, depending on your geographical location and personal details, you will receive different surveys worth different amount.

For the second point, you are quite right. Global test market used to give a small amount of market points even if you do not qualify. Now they’ve changed to sweep entries. I have updated this in my post. Thank you very much for pointing it out.
