After you become a member and confirm your email address, make sure you complete the profile surveys. This allows Toluna to send you more relevant surveys in the future and you will receive 2000 points once you complete them.
You earn points by doing surveys which are redeemable for cash. Depending on which countries you are from and based on your personal profile, Toluna will send specific surveys relevant to you. You usually get paid $1-$10 per survey from Toluna. Once you earn $20, you can request a payout through check or paypal. I would recommend paypal, because of faster payment.
